hey ppl!!!! whoever still reads this blog anymore lol. ah anyway.

today’s a small reprieve from work, and even then i have to chiong stuff for tmr. CHEM CCT and ENGLISH ORAL DEFENSE!!!!. lol confirm die one. now shuld kinda be the time where i spam coffee and work late into the night, but i choose to blog haha. look at me. so dedicated to my wondrous fans.       .         .

anyway, the past week has been kinda cool, especially cos i stayed for 4 days in boarding, for like the 1st time in 4 years. its quite cool lah. wake up at 6.30, bathe, eat breakfast then take a 2 minute walk to the parade square. sexy. then there’s the freepool that you can play anytime, except there’s no air con and its FREAKING hot. but its still free =) only one problem. its kindof a known fact that most of the scholars that study in ri are kinda left out sometimes, i mean, poor english, different motivations, work attitudes etc. but when you enter boarding, where the whole place is just overflowing with scholars that speak in some funny language all the time, its totally different. now its your turn to be left out, to feel ostracized. of course, they interact with you, but there’s still that barier.

like for all you know, when someone waves at you and says something in whatever language thy use, you think they are saying ‘hi!’ but maybe its something like ‘bite me!’ with a smile. its a weird feeling haha.

but the pool is free. thats allll that matters.

whoooo.. its been a wild and wet ride since my last post. which was like…20394 years ago? yeap. its been a long time since i came back here to post something.

we left off in the middle of the june, since then a couple of major things have happened. first up was nationals, which was totally totally screwed up, we came in like team 6th. which is n00BY. oh well. someone has to lose sometime, this round sueysuey its us.

then comes singapore open, where i won my first sosc medal like EVER. team bronze, which is actually quite shitty cos there are like 5 or 6 teams in total. wow. AND I HOPE ALL THE HUNDREDS AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY SIGNED UP FOR SINGAPORE OPEN (minus us lowly students and school participants of course) HAD A GREAT WONDERFUL TIME AT THE GALA DINNER, WHICH IM SURE (minus us lowly students and school participants) A HUGE CROWD ATTENDED.

finally, last thing worth mentioning is of course dramafeste. its truly been an indescribable journey for me, mainly cos ive never done a play on such a large scale before. got act before, but i was usually the scriptwriter, and any role i had, if any, would be a super super small role. this round the play was a 3 man show, of which i was one of the 3 men. so you can imagine how i felt lah. over the course of 3 weeks we went through lots of shit, some good, mostly bad. we changed scripts, debated, argued, panicked alot, changed them back again, then we finalised our script 3 days before performance. the next 3 days were the worst and best of the whole thing, by the end of rehearsals each day we were totally drained and tired mentally, then when we reached home at 11 plus we had homework to do. showday was friday, and we did our best, coming in joint third with buckley and master thia getting Promising Actor award.

dramafestewas heaven, hell and everything in between. but still its gonna be the most memorable thing im probable gonna do in sec 4. DF FTW!!

you know, sometimes i really wonder what the people in my life would be like without me. not in the ‘hey, im going away and never coming back, so there!’ sense, but if i just sat down and didnt do anything, didnt have any initiative, just living life as each day comes. i wonder if that would make a difference.

if i dont fire off those barrages of smses and calls to remind people to do things, organise stuff, would anything get done? its happening more so during this holiday than ever. i dont know what’s happening on the other end, but the impression i get is that its becoming a 1 man show for some of the projects im doing. im the one prompting, im the one chasing people for stuff, and its not like i dont have my own schedule to handle. frankly, its getting tiring, having to accomodate everybody, trying to get things done and involve everybody.

im saying this without a hint of arrogance because this IS what is happening. or at least its what i think it is. im being totally honest here people. maybe when people see that im the person planning stuff they choose to take a back seat. maybe, maybe not. i dont know. all i know is that 3 weeks of this crap has passed and im getting REALLY irritated by it.

yesterday went down to lavender for SS documentary street interviews. total washout man. through this project, i learned 3 more singaporean reactions to street interviewers:

1. ‘oh im sorry, i have an appointment”

exhibitors of this peculiar behaviour are usually middle-aged aunties and uncles who are simply strolling along the path. as you approach these specimens, they give you a staring down before you actually talk to them . they have the peculiar sense of mind reading, because they seem to know that you are gonna ask for 2 minutes of their time. this is followed by the warning call:’ oh im sorry, im rushing for an appointment”. this sound usually serves to inform you that you are not wanted, and any further badgering will force them to turn hostile. such specimens should be left alone, even though you know that they just cocked up the appointment crap.

2. ‘oh take video? dont want dont want.’

this call is made by the more camera-shy of the species, as such hard video evidence of these specimens are very rare. these creatures are willing to stop for queries, but the moment they see a camera, they scurry for the saftey of the crowd.

3. ‘*mumbling* nonononononnono’

these are the most rare of the species, preferring not to even stop to talk to researchers.

this was supposed to be funny. halfway through i lost interest. lets just say that street interviews SUCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK.

ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. we have reached the halfway point of our 1 month flight, seatbelt signs have been turned off, and we would like to remind you that you can smoke all you want, as long as you dont breathe out the smoke for the remainder of the flight. thank you.

2 weeks have gone past, 2 weeks left to go, and im like DYING HERE!!!! its madness people, every single day i have to wake up at like 8 to go out for 1 project meeting or the other, or for training, or for social outing. its freaking busssyyyy. and i havent even started on like 3 of my projects yet. -.-

at least i can make use of NUS shoot to catch up on some work. my job this round is to babysit our guys in SAFRA for the whole day. YAH. thrilling. oh well, at least they got people there to support them haha. GO GO RAFFLES!!

on other matters, tonight is the night is the night where i make the legendary jump from friendster to facebook. okay i know. laugh, laugh. im some suaku guy thats only like 1 year late to join facebook. okay okay people, whatever anyhoo, i know a new internet asignment that the English Dept can do for semester 2!! it incorporates the internet element of the blog assignment and the discussions of the book club. yes, you guessed it, its the…..FACEBOOK CLUB!!!!

and in a totally random urge, i wake up in the middle of the night to blog. like. wow, the dedication *sniff* anyway, the 1st week of holiday has ben pretty slack, so im enjoying it while i can before the real work starts. this whole week ive kinda been running up and down between yishun and home and bishan -.- tiring man. ive come to hate train rides, cos i have to stand haha. bus better cos most of the time i get to sit.

you know, sometimes when people really piss me off or let me down i seriously feel damn irritated. makes me feel like just sitting back and watch you do stuff. i remember back in primary school i attended a couple of camps with scouts. there would always be times where i had an idea to complete a certain task, and i knew for a fact that this idea would work. and then some guy who was either more popular or more persuasive than me would butt in and enforce his idea. i mean, if my idea is not feasible, then at least tell me right. and then tis person would usually not even bother to explain his suggestion, and continually shoot down other people’s suggestions at the same time. usually when this happened i would just drop the whole thing, stay in one corner and watch the group fail. it kind of brought me a sense of satisfaction watching them struggling.

well maybe the same thing is happening now, maybe not. either way, the least i can do is to warn you. if you think youve gotten to me then think again. as long as i have nothing to lose, i am neither obliged nor willing to intervene. you can fail, crash, burn and die. see if i care. all im going to do is observe. if you refuse to listen to other people’s ideas, mine included, then its up to you. if you at least cared to explain your rationale, it wouldnt be so bad. but too bad. you keep insisting on rewarding a person for 3 years of service with something that costs less then a dollar, then its your choice. i never enforced my ideas durinf our discussion, and im not enforcing them now.

jut letting you know that you can do whatever you want. i couldnt give a shit.

these few days have been madness man… =(

its not so much busy or what haha. it all started with the champion’s league. the night i didnt sleep. 48 hours, 0 sleep, so of course the effects are still being felt 2 days on lol. i’ve been continuosly tired cos of this for like 3 days straight man. but anyway…

HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!! woot.

today was a cool day, i actually think i didnt wasted it haha.

we saw our new english teacher for the 1st time today, one eugene sng. he quite cool lah, keep swearing in class. ’shit, its recess alr’ ‘how the hell do you spell this?’ but he quite nice lah.

end of school was moor house meeting, where 6 sec 4s had to control 100 or so sec 1s. we had half an hour to do 2 activities and it was mega mega screwup. the 1st activity wasnt even completed, and the 2nd one went on for like 5 minutes before we had to wrap up. oh well. at least i did something other than stone for a house meeting

and today, i did soething that i never did before………….. AUDITION!!! haha i auditioned for cast in moor’s dramafeste. super spastic man. i played a soldier, a gangster, a father angry with his son, a woman haunted by ghosts, and finally the super imba role at a gay guy seducing a straight guy. HOYEAH> auditions = one of the top few time sin my life where i acted as a complete retard. but was quite fun lah. SHIOK MAN.

ooooooo this is the 1st time im posting in an ownage number of days. which is like, 2 full weeks. but sorry lah, last 2 weeks was super super busy. im sure some people know that see? im so busy until cannot find time to blog. haiz.
i did a crap load of stuff in the last 2 weeks, so i shall start with my favourite sport that i suck at anyway, the beautiful game……… POOL!!!

played pool twice in the last 2 weeks, once in safra and once in some weird underground place in dhoby ghaut. in pe uniform. at 10pm. yeah. so the dhoby ghaut game sucked, other than when i beat angus by 6 balls in the 1st game. all my shots anyhow whack. then the safra game was one of the best games i eva played WOOTS!! but probably one in a million lah, so play once and enjoy it =)

also went for batch CIP 1st needs analysis. we were supposed to go around houses in some estate and do a survey of the houses there, see whether they need any service from us or not. major major disappointment. its like, we covered all the houses, but i think out of each floor of apartments, only 1 or 2 households even bother talking to us. most of them were not at home, but there were a couple of apartments that had people inside. we knock at the door and ring the bell, then i can hear the people inside suddenly stop talking, turn off tv etc. got some of them even go like “aiya, dont open the door lah”. like what the fuck man? people cant even get their lazy asses off the couch to do a simple courtesy of opening the door? and these are the same people that look and point at our uniforms and say ‘ wah, see? so arrogant, so snobbish’. eh come on, i make the effort to go down to your housing estate and ask politely if you need help. all you have to do is say yes or no. dont care if im from whatever snobbish arrogant school lah, i think its basic courtesy to at least open the door or answer when somebody knocks right. assholes

and finally, its the last week of term 2!!!! haha. and i had to go cut my hair -.-i kena scammed lor, hair-check day is also vesak day. -.- dont cut also can. but anyway. at long last allt eh projects and assignments and whatever are over, except book club. which we can do quite fast yay. end of term also means pre-holiday celebrations!!! so on wednesday/thursday half of 4R and me are going to jin kiat’s house to watch champions league finals at 2 something a.m. yeah. i am sooo gonna die. but heck.

its the end of term!!!! in 5 days!!!!
